Add a Bluetooth enabled device to your laptop

Add a Bluetooth adapter to your computer if it doesn't already have one. You can do this by plugging the adapter into a USB port. Some computers come with a built-in Bluetooth adapter, especially laptops

Set up the Bluetooth enabled device so that your computer can find it.
To do this, you must first:
  • Turn the device on.
  • Make it discoverable

  1. Open Devices and Printers by clicking the Start button , and then, on the Start menu, clicking Devices and Printers.
  2. Click Add a device, and then follow the instructions.

Make sure that Bluetooth is working on the device you want to connect. When it will discoverable you will see your phone and speaker on this windows

Double-click the phone (or headset or speaker or whatever).

Your phone (or other device) is now ready to connect.

Wait for windows to create a connection code, if one is necessary.

If your device requires authentication — and all phones do — Windows 7 generates a random connection code and shows it to you. This means that only the wireless devices you authorize can connect with your computer.

At this point, enter the connection code into your phone or other device (if necessary)

Be sure to keep your device turned on and within range of your PC.

Now your device has successfully connect to PC and you can share anything via Bluetooth.

How to Format the C Drive With Windows 7 Disc

In Windows 7, you can format your C drive without being required to format all the other disk drives, or partitions, on your computer. The Windows 7 installation disc that was included with your computer at the time of purchase will allow you to format the C drive and erase all your settings, files, and programs on that partition.

Back up and save your files.
Save your files to an external hard drive or disc, or save your files to another folder on the network

Insert the Windows 7 installation disc

Turn off your computer. Your computer will have to reboot in order to read the Windows 7 installation disc.

Start  your computer. When your computer powers back on, it will read the installation disc and begin the formatting process.

Format your C drive
After the computer has recognized the installation disc, you will be prompted to press any key on your keyboard to continue. The installation wizard will then appear on your screen.

Read and review the Windows 7 license terms. In order to proceed to the next screen, you will be required to place a check mark in the box next to "I accept the license terms."

Select "Custom" when prompted to indicated the type of installation you want to perform.

Select "Drive options (advanced)" when asked where you want Windows installed. Choosing this option will allow you to select the C drive as the only drive you want to format.

Click on your "C" disk drive when Windows asks which partition you want to "change," or install. Your computer will then begin formatting, or erasing, all the data currently existing on your C drive. Windows will notify you when the formatting procedure has finished.

After your C drive has been formatted, you will be required to re-install Windows 7 to that partition. Click on "Next" after Windows has notified you that the formatting procedure has completed.Select the Partition where you want to install Windows 7 and click Next. You will need at least 15 GB free space. then click on next

Approximately takes about 30 min to 1 hour to finish, depending on your computer speed.

After half an hour, setup is complete and windows 7 installation is almost finished.
Few more minutes
Now your computer will reboot, since the Windows 7 DVD boot disk is still in the drive, the message press any key to boot from DVD will appear. We already did that, so this time DO NOT press anything. Just wait 5 sec and your PC will continue booting and finish installing your operating system.

Windows will continue booting and installing, almost there!

Is your Windows starting slow?

you can use Msconfig. go to Run and type msconfig then you will get small window of system Configuration.

On Windows, just every software automatically adds itself to start up when the machine starts, even if you don't use it.  Logmein, Adobe Acrobat, Java. They do that because when you actually start the application, they appear to start instantaneously, making you think they are fast and good.

This is screen of Start up programs.

Whenever there's a update to one of these software, such as Java, Adobe, they automatically add back to the startup. So be sure to disable them again.

Disable Services
